Strike Action for Maroochydore CBD

Strike! A new bowling alley with bright lights, music and beverages is coming to Maroochydore.

Former Victorians David and Trish Mullins last year started Spinners Bar and Bowl at Caloundra and they are now bringing their enthusiasm for tenpins to another venue.

They have leased premises at 37 Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore, through Ray White Commercial North Coast Central’s Emily Pendleton and Michael Shadforth.

“David and Trish were very keen to get into the well-established Ocean St and Duporth Avenue precinct among other bars, clubs and restaurants,” Emily Pendleton said.

“The owner of the property is very pleased to have secured a long-term tenant and is assisting with the construction of the bowling alley.

“The building has been leased at a competitive rental for the precinct with long term vision.”

Emily Pendleton said tenpin bowling was fun for all ages and also those with special needs.

“It’s such a friendly environment,” she said.

Michael Shadforth said the Duporth Ave freehold property is in the heart of Maroochydore’s Principal Activity Area and set to benefit from the ongoing infrastructure upgrades of the surrounding area, including the nearby Maroochydore City Centre.

“The new Maroochydore City Centre will be instrumental in building and strengthening the region, providing a mix of residential, commercial, retail, civic and community uses to develop a thriving and vibrant business district and city centre.”
